The OrthoVet Boot Splint is designed to support the Rear OR Front paw. The splint sits low on the leg, supporting just below the ankle or wrist to underneath the paw only.
This splint will not stabilize the hock or knee on the rear leg, or the carpal or elbow on the front leg. Please check with your veterinarian before using a splint on your dog, cat, or other pet.
OrthoVet Splints are a “Generically Made Splint” and will not fit every contour of the animal’s leg. If you have any questions on the sizing or fit of these splints, please get in contact with us. We can also offer custom-made OrthoVet splints designed for long-term solutions, this will require a cast to be taken of your dog's leg for a custom splint to be made up
