Second hand wheelchairs sold by us will be guaranteed to be fully functional and come with a 3 month warranty. Wheelchairs may show signs of wear, and cosmetic marks on all parts of the wheelchair, including frame, wheels, struts, extenders, harnesses, leg rings and stirrups.

Price of second hand wheelchair includes existing Wheel/Strut combo for that kit. If you require a second hand wheelchair to be modified to fit your dog, such as different wheel or struts according to your dog's height, interchangeable parts and accessories can be purchased separately.

Choosing the correct size frame:

Weight determines correct wheelchair frame size for your dog.

Once your dogs weight has been obtained, a measurement of the dog's body will be required.

Further measurements needed:

1. Measure the Rear Leg Height: from where the back leg joins to belly to the toe pad in a straight line.

Ideally when your pet is laying down, as shown below. Do not pull the leg tight; leave some natural bend in knee and ankle.

2. Measure your pet’s length or armpit to rump (pet length), as shown below.

 

For Dachshunds:

1. Measure the Rear Leg Height: from where the back leg joins to belly to the toe pad in a straight line. Ideally when your pet is laying down, as shown below. Do not pull the leg tight; leave some natural bend in knee and ankle.
2. Measure your pet’s length or armpit to rump (pet length), as shown below.
